Sara Valta knew she wanted to be an artist and create comics as soon as she began her studies in the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. She graduated with a bachelors degree on graphic design in 2016.

Sara’s works have been published in USA, UK, France and Finland. She’s a two time grant winner and has taken part in several comics residencies in Finland. Her works have been exhibited in several comics fairs in USA, UK, Sweden and Finland and her works have appeared in art exhibitions.

Sara is a bisexual woman and a feminist. She’s active both in grassroots organizations and wider political activism. Her 4 year work in the board of the Finnish Comics Society and organizing the Helsinki Comics Festival Zine Fest continues to this day.

Sara’s erotica comics are here to show us queer intimacy, especially that of a bisexual woman, but she also makes autobiographical strip comics about her own life in her polyamorous communal home.
